Beloit College Mindset List of 2014

This list is actually kind of funny. There are several things that I do and don’t agree with. I think that the list is split about half and half in what I believe to be right and wrong. While the list is funny it also is shocking to see what people our age actually think.
A lot of the list goes through talking about people in the past is somewhat true but a lot of them are false. I know that Clint Eastwood played Dirty Harry but neither of those are what I remember. I probably don’t really follow a lot of these being a sort of history buff but I can see where a lot of these would be true.
I have known that Czechoslovakia is now the Czech Republic so I knew it existed. As for a lot of the things like Ice-T’s “Cop Killer,” I knew he had made the song but never had any interest in trying to get it but I’m sure at one point it was on an album. Already they have been proven wrong about the computer one because they make those little laptops without a CD drive.
I think that the list is pretty close to being right. While a lot of people my age probably don’t know even realize what some of these things are it just proves the lists point. I’m sure that there are people who read this and think that they nailed this generation. This list is kind of just a funny way of saying that times are changing.
